Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
- Monitor labor and delivery status, assess patient needs, and respond to obstetric emergencies as they arise
- Administer medications and oversee perioperative and post-delivery care as appropriate
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with physicians, midwives, and other disciplines
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately; maintain compliance with policies and procedures
- Apply critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent discretion in care planning and delivery

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- BLS certification (American Heart Association) or equivalent
- Relevant experience in labor and delivery or related obstetric care; travel-friendly clinical background encouraged
- Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts and function effectively in a high-acuity hospital setting
- Strong communication, clinical assessment, and teamwork skills
