Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging studies using Siemens CT scanners (Edge Plus, Definition AS, Force) in a 24-hour department.
- Position patients, select protocols, and optimize image quality while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Administer contrast using the Bayer Medrad Contrast Injector and monitor for adverse reactions.
- Manage imaging orders and documentation in Cerner; communicate results and any concerns via SBAR.
- Support a range of CT procedures, including angiography-related imaging, biopsies, abscess drains, ablation protocols, and pre-procedure Watchman protocols.
- Maintain radiation safety standards, equipment quality control, and patient throughput to meet daily volumes (approximately 130 exams/day on weekdays, 80 exams/day on weekends).
- Collaborate with inpatients and outpatients; adapt to a high-volume, fast-paced environment with strict safety and quality guidelines.
- Enforce holiday coverage requirements as part of a rotating schedule (see Holiday Expectations in Job Notes).

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CT specialty experience
- Active ARRT certification and BLS certification required
- Ability to work in a 24-hour department with a weekend schedule and 12-hour night shifts
- Must be willing to work the specified holiday requirements (two major holidays and one minor holiday per cycle)
- Strong knowledge of Cerner and patient safety protocols; familiarity with Bayer Medrad contrast injector is a plus
- Willingness to travel to the assignment location in Cumming, GA
