Responsibilities
- Perform pediatric echocardiography imaging and related ultrasound procedures with high image quality and clinical utility.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment; ensure safety and patient comfort during examinations.
- Independently scan pediatric patients, including those in critical care areas such as NICU and PICU, as required.
- Document findings clearly in the EMR and communicate results to the supervising physicians and care team.
- Collaborate with pediatric cardiology, neonatology, and ICU teams; support family-centered care and patient advocacy.
- Adhere to pediatric echocardiography protocols and maintain current knowledge of congenital heart disease, postoperative repairs, and fetal echocardiography concepts when applicable.

Requirements
- ARDMS or CCI credential in pediatric echocardiography (RDCS-PE or RCS-PE) required
- Minimum 3 years of independent pediatric echocardiography experience
- Fetal echocardiography experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of complex congenital heart disease, cardiac surgical repairs, and pediatric cardiac anatomy
- Ability to scan independently in high-acuity settings (Neonatal ICU, Pediatric ICU)
- EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years required
- BLS certification; Ultrasound Tech Certification Verification (Equivalency) acceptable if applicable
- Pediatric patient-focused care experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced travel assignment setting
