Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to CCU patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate patient care to the health care team to maintain continuity and safety.
- Adhere to established Standards of Nursing Practice and policy, ensuring high-quality care and patient safety.
- Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and communicate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff.
- Document care, outcomes, and any changes in patient condition clearly and accurately.
- Support patient and family education, discharge planning, and care transition as appropriate.
Requirements
- This role requires performing the professional functions of a Registered Nurse in a CCU setting.
- Availability for 12-hour day shifts on a 3x12 schedule.
- Scheduled to work 36 hours per week during a 13-week contract.
