Registered Nurse – Emergency Department in Reedley, California, United States. Start date 09/21/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Weekly pay range $2,069–$2,119 per week with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift is day shift, 3x12-hour blocks (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM). Work setting: rural acute care facility.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct, coordinated nursing care in the ED using the nursing process for an assigned patient group.
- Assess, monitor, and document patient status; administer medications and therapies per orders; manage IVs and monitoring equipment.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans; coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other disciplines; participate in discharge planning.
- Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff and other team members; delegate tasks appropriately.
- Provide education to patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, medications, and post-discharge care; promote safety and infection control.
Requirements
- Current RN license in California or state of practice; active licensure required.
- CPR/BLS certification required; ACLS (American Heart Association) or ARC-ALS and PALS (American Heart Association) or ARC-PALS certifications required.
- BSN preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent ER/acute care experience.
- EPIC EMR experience required.
- Ability to work day shift in a 12-hour, 3x12-hour schedule; comfortable in a rural acute care setting.
- Vaccination per organizational policy; medical or religious exemptions may apply.
