Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive respiratory care to neonates in the NICU according to physician orders, including ventilator management, weaning, and airway support
- Assess patient status, monitor respiratory therapy effectiveness, perform airway clearance techniques, suctioning, and delivery of inhaled therapies
- Adjust ventilator settings, administer oxygen, and provide modalities such as humidified high-flow therapy as indicated
- Monitor patient response, interpret ABGs when required, document care, and communicate changes to the NICU team
- Collaborate with neonatology, nursing, and respiratory therapy colleagues to coordinate patient care plans and rounds
- Adhere to infection control practices, safety protocols, and unit policies; participate in quality and safety initiatives

Requirements
- Licenses and credentials: Georgia RRT license (NBRC-RRT required)
- Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS; NRP certification
- NICU experience: minimum of 2 years of recent NICU/neonatal respiratory therapy experience; neonatal delivery experience preferred
- Additional: Neonatal resuscitation knowledge or experience required; ability to work a 12-hour night shift in an NICU environment
- Location: relocation required; no local candidates within 50 miles
- Skills: strong documentation, communication, and teamwork abilities
