Responsibilities
- Perform, assist with, and complete cardiac and vascular radiographic examinations and interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab using advanced imaging equipment.
- Operate digital imaging systems to produce high-quality images; position and instruct patients for examinations and specialized studies.
- Deliver efficient clinical care with a high level of technical and organizational skill, applying critical thinking to complex procedures.
- Model, mentor, and train staff on technical skills; share knowledge to support team competency and safety.
- Contribute input into hiring and promotion decisions for staff and participate in quality improvement activities.
Requirements
- Active radiologic technology license/certification as required by state regulations.
- Current certifications relevant to interventional radiology or as required by the position.
- Experience performing cardiac and vascular radiographic examinations and active interventional procedures.
- Ability to operate cardiovascular imaging equipment and to position and instruct patients for specialized studies.
- Strong clinical, organizational, and critical thinking skills; willing to mentor staff and collaborate in a fast-paced lab environment.
- Willingness to travel and commit to a 13-week travel assignment with a rotating 4x10 shift schedule.
