Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations including abdomen, gynecology, vascular, and breast imaging per protocol
- Acquire high-quality images, optimize machine settings, and apply appropriate protocols
- Assist with ultrasound-guided procedures, including breast biopsies
- Enter exam results and patient data into the EMR and communicate findings to radiologists or the interpreting team
- Maintain ultrasound equipment, perform basic quality control, and ensure patient safety and comfort
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a teaching hospital environment
Requirements
- ARDMS certification in abdomen, gynecology, and vascular
- BLS certification
- Ultrasound Tech Certification Verification or equivalency
- Minimum of 2 years ultrasound experience
- Experience in a breast care center and performing breast biopsies
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years
