Radiology Tech – CT Tech position in Burlington, Vermont. This is a travel, temporary assignment beginning 07/06/2026 for 13 weeks, with a 4x10 rotating shift in a hospital imaging department. Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures with appropriate positioning, exposure factors, and patient safety measures following department protocols.
- Independently scan trauma patients when required; coordinate with radiologists to obtain diagnostic-quality images.
- Administer contrast media and manage IV access as per policy; monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after imaging.
- Operate CT equipment, optimize image quality, and adhere to safety and quality standards; ensure proper documentation in the EMR/EPIC.
- Maintain clear communication with the radiology team, transport staff, and referring clinicians; participate in continuous quality improvement and patient care processes.
- Adapt to a fast-paced, teaching-facility environment with rotating scheduling and unit-specific procedures.
Requirements
- ARRT CT certification (verification required)
- Vermont radiologic technologist license or eligibility; must apply for VT license at time of offer
- EPIC experience within the past 2 years (nonnegotiable)
- Experience scanning trauma patients independently; ability to start peripheral IVs (PIVs) required
- Phillips CT experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to work in a hospital imaging department and participate in Monday–Sunday schedules; must meet program’s scheduling requirements
