Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures across a broad patient population, ensuring safety, efficiency, and high image quality.
- Position patients, select appropriate protocols, adjust parameters, and operate CT equipment accurately.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and facility policies.
- Navigate imaging and hospital information systems (including EPIC) to document procedures and manage data.
- Recognize and respond to emergent situations, monitor patient status, and communicate findings with radiologists, physicians, and families as appropriate.
- Collaborate with the radiology team and other healthcare professionals to promote patient care and workflow efficiency.
- Maintain proficiency and participate in ongoing skill development, including any required credentialing or equipment updates.
Requirements
- Active ARRT CT certification (ARRT) and BLS certification (AHA or ARC).
- Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience; 1 year of prior travel radiology experience.
- Experience with pediatric through geriatric patient populations; Level I Trauma experience.
- EPIC EMR experience preferred; ability to navigate imaging and hospital computer systems.
- Submission requirements: two supervisory references from the last two years; current skills checklist pertinent to radiology; documented work history; all required documentation.
- Eligible to work in the United States and able to work in a hospital setting; strong communication and teamwork skills.
