Registered Nurse — Oncology, located in Cumming, Georgia, United States. Start date: 06/15/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,592–$1,627 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 12-hour night shifts on a 12x3 schedule. This assignment is in a hospital setting on an Acute Pulmonary Unit (Med/Surg) with telemetry capability.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients on the Acute Pulmonary Unit (Med/Surg) with telemetry.
- Assess patient conditions, monitor vitals, respond to changes, and implement nursing interventions per plan of care.
- Administer medications, perform routine procedures within scope, and coordinate with the multidisciplinary team.
- Document care and progress in the Cerner electronic health record; monitor oxygen delivery and respiratory therapies as indicated.
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions; participate in discharge planning and transitions of care.
- Maintain patient safety and infection prevention standards; collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and support staff to ensure quality care.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia (current GA RN license)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience within the specialty/unit (acute pulmonary/medical-surgical setting) or closely related area
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Cerner EHR experience and telemetry monitoring experience encouraged
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts; capable of caring for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
- Willingness to relocate; no local candidates within 50 miles will be considered
