Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct segments of treatment programs designed to restore and improve physical function, while aligning with department objectives.
- Assess patients, establish individualized goals, and implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, gait, and functional activities.
- Monitor patient progress; adjust treatment plans as needed and document outcomes.
- Collaborate as a co-leader within an interdisciplinary care team, including group-based approaches when appropriate.
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety measures, and post-discharge expectations.
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist license in Oregon or eligible for licensure
- Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program; Doctoral-level degree (DPT) strongly preferred
- Ability to work 4x10-hour daytime shifts (40 hours/week) in a hospital setting
- Willingness to work in Tillamook, Oregon and participate in interdisciplinary care
- Ability to adapt to travel assignments and work within a changing clinical environment
