Registered Nurse with a geriatric focus is sought for a travel assignment in Washington, North Carolina. Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.
- Monitor residents’ conditions, perform ongoing assessments, document findings, and promptly report changes to the charge nurse.
- Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team.
- Provide direct resident care, including assistance with activities of daily living, positioning, mobility, and basic wound care as needed.
- Document care accurately in the electronic health record and ensure adherence to infection control, safety, and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and members of the healthcare team to coordinate comprehensive care.
Requirements
- Active North Carolina RN license
- 12 months of recent RN experience
- Ability to work night shifts in a long-term care setting
- Weekend requirements: every other weekend
- Credentials due by 10/10/26 or ASAP
- Holidays as needed by client
