Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Travel assignment in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Start date: May 1, 2026. Duration: 14 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,552–$1,657 per week. Guaranteed hours: 35 per week. Shift: 5x8 Days; schedule 08:00–16:30. Setting: long-term care facility (nursing home). This is a temporary travel assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Deliver or assist with occupational therapy services to residents under supervision as part of a multidisciplinary rehab team.
- Implement and adapt treatment plans and therapeutic activities to support residents’ goals and progress.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate treatment notes in line with facility and regulatory requirements.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed to promote function, safety, and quality of life.
- Collaborate with OT/therapy colleagues, nursing staff, and other disciplines to coordinate care plans and communicate changes.
- Maintain therapy spaces, manage equipment and supplies, and uphold infection control and safety standards.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Ability to work in a long-term care setting and participate in a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication, documentation, and time-management skills
- Eligibility to work in the United States and meet applicable state requirements
