Respiratory Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist) – Travel assignment in Bellefontaine, Ohio. Start date 06/15/2026 for 8 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,818–$1,968 per week. No guaranteed hours. Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts from 5:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital. This travel role is with Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Provide basic and advanced respiratory care to neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients per physician orders and department protocols.
- Conduct patient assessments, implement prescribed therapies, monitor responses, and evaluate effectiveness of treatment.
- Operate and manage equipment including ventilators, BiPAP, CPAP, blood gas/co-oximetry analyzers, apnea/saturation/End Tidal CO2 monitoring, ECG, and related devices.
- Administer medications relevant to respiratory therapy, perform aerosol therapy, airway management and clearance, chest physiotherapy, oxygen therapy, and breath sound assessment.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team, communicate patient needs to physicians and staff, and participate in care planning and handoffs.
- Document care activities accurately, maintain policy compliance, and provide patient and family education as appropriate.
Requirements
- Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- Licenses: Active Ohio or compact license at time of submission.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS through the American Heart Association (AHA) and active at start.
- Registry: Completion of the registry exam within one year of graduation.
- Experience/credentials: Resume skills checklist completed within 1 year of assignment start.
- Additional: Ability to work in a hospital setting with 12-hour day shifts (5:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.); neonatal through geriatric patient populations.
