Travel Registered Nurse CCU Job
Registered Nurse – CCU in Templeton, California. Start date: 08/31/2026. This travel assignment runs for 13 weeks with a 36-hour workweek, consisting of 12-hour day shifts. Pay range is $2,075 to $2,187 per week. The role is in an inpatient critical care setting and is represented by CNA.

Responsibilities
- Perform the professional functions of a Registered Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients in the CCU.
- Coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate patient care to the care team and support staff as appropriate.
- Monitor patient status, administer prescribed therapies and medications, respond to changes in condition, and document findings accurately.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote patient safety, care quality, and timely achievement of clinical goals.
- Ensure adherence to established Standards of Nursing Practice and facility policies; participate in quality improvement activities.
- Educate patients and families as appropriate and promote cooperation among the health care team; maintain clear, comprehensive documentation.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in good standing (state of practice as applicable for the assignment) and ability to obtain licensure in the required jurisdiction if needed.
- Prior CCU/critical care nursing experience preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS as applicable to CCU practice may be required or preferred.
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a high-acuity inpatient CCU setting; strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with licensed and unlicensed staff; comfortable within a CNA-represented environment.
- Commitment to patient safety, accurate documentation, and adherence to standards of care.
