Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to med-surg patients, including monitoring, assessments, and documentation
- Administer medications, manage IV therapies, wound care, and routine treatments per physician orders
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and escalate concerns promptly
- Educate patients and families on self-care, discharge instructions, and safety
- Maintain compliance with infection control, safety standards, and documentation in the electronic health record
Requirements
- Active RN license in Georgia
- BLS and NIH Certification required; ACLS preferred
- Minimum 2 years of med-surg nursing experience
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced environment
- Eligibility to participate in a travel assignment
