Licensed Practical Nurse needed for a travel assignment in Long Term Care (LTC) in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This 3-week assignment starts August 1, 2026 and offers 36 guaranteed hours per week. Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to residents in a long-term care setting, under established policies and patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; document administration accurately
- Monitor residents’ conditions, perform routine assessments, and report changes to the supervising nurse
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and provide support for mobility, comfort, and safety
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and an interdisciplinary team; document care in the electronic health record
- Maintain infection control practices, patient safety, and appropriate documentation; respond promptly to call lights and emergencies
Requirements
- Current LPN license in New Mexico or eligibility for NM licensure
- CPR/BLS certification
- Prior experience in a geriatric or long-term care setting preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts (06:30–19:00) and be local to the Albuquerque area
- Strong communication and documentation skills; proficient with electronic health records
