Responsibilities
- Prepare procedure rooms and equipment; maintain sterile technique for endoscopy and interventional GI procedures
- Circulate during procedures, monitor patient status, assist with equipment handling and instrument setup
- Assist with specimen labeling and documentation; support peri-procedural care and patient safety
- Manage endoscopy scopes and associated accessories; troubleshoot routine equipment issues
- Perform decontamination, cleaning, and sterilization of reprocessed equipment in accordance with infection control policies
- Contribute to post-procedure care and patient comfort; communicate with team about any deviations or concerns
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a GI lab or interventional GI technology
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Ability to work in a GI lab/interventional environment
- Travel assignment eligibility for a 13-week engagement
- Holiday coverage: must work two major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year’s Day) and one minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
