Responsibilities
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, manage labor progression, assist with deliveries, and respond promptly to obstetric emergencies.
- Administer medications, perform cervical exams within scope, interpret fetal monitoring strips, and prepare patients for operative deliveries.
- Provide postpartum education and emotional support to patients and families during the birth process.
- Maintain safe, efficient, and high-quality nursing care in Labor & Delivery, collaborating with the obstetric team and adhering to patient safety protocols.
Requirements
- Current Montana RN license required.
- Certifications: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Experience: Must have experience in Labor & Delivery.
- Ability to work in a Labor & Delivery unit within a travel assignment structure.
- Eligible for travel assignment and able to work nights.
