Responsibilities
- Provide general physical therapy evaluations and treatments to patients across a wide age range, with emphasis on improving functional abilities.
- Assess, evaluate, diagnose, and develop a plan of care with goals; implement, supervise, and modify therapy plans based on patient response.
- Oversee and direct the work of Physical Therapy Assistants and other designated staff; collaborate with the health care team to ensure appropriate equipment and discharge planning.
- Document encounter findings, treatment plans, diagnoses, and prognoses in accordance with policy; communicate progress with referring providers and care conferences.
- Educate patients and families, including clear home exercise programs and instructions to promote independence and self-care.
- Maintain clinical space, participate in quality improvement activities, and contribute to committee or administrative functions as assigned.

Requirements
- Active Alaska Physical Therapist license at time of submission
- Pediatric PT experience required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in adult outpatient rehab
- Education: Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; or equivalent per program guidelines
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Valid driver’s license
- Flu vaccination required
- Ability to work in both inpatient and outpatient hospital settings
- Must meet background processing timelines for start date
