Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) travel assignment in Columbia, Missouri. Start date: 09/21/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,980–$2,100 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including initial triage, assessment, stabilization, and ongoing monitoring of acuity patients.
- Administer medications, fluids, and IV therapies; establish and maintain IV access; assist with procedures as needed.
- Perform and interpret 12-lead EKGs; participate in telemetry monitoring and rapid rhythm interpretation.
- Manage airway and ventilation needs as appropriate (CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators); assist with airway procedures and trach care.
- Support line management (IV access, PICC/central line where applicable) and participate in cardioversion/defibrillation when indicated.
- Collaborate with physicians, techs, and other team members to coordinate care, manage high admission rates, and ensure patient safety and accurate documentation.
- Provide patient and family education, discharge planning, and appropriate escalation when clinical status changes.

Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of Missouri (or appropriate jurisdiction for practice)
- ER experience: 5 years preferred
- Strong Emergency Department skills, including IV insertion, 12-lead EKG acquisition and interpretation, airway management, and telemetry understanding
- Proficiency with PICC/central line management and related procedures
- Ability to work a 3x12-hour night shift; strong communication and teamwork in a high-volume ED
- Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program (RN)
