Travel Registered Nurse LTC Job
Registered Nurse – Long-Term Care (LTC) in Berlin, VT. Travel assignment starting 08/27/2026 for 4 weeks, nights on a 3x12 schedule. Weekly pay range: $2,533–$2,635 per week. No guaranteed hours. This is a travel - temporary assignment in a long-term care nursing home setting.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, professional nursing care to residents in an LTC setting, including assessment, monitoring, medication administration per policy, and timely documentation in the electronic health record.
- Monitor residents with dementia, implement care plans, and adjust care as directed by the nursing leadership and physicians.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team (registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, CNAs, social workers, and physicians) to ensure safe, high-quality, person-centered care.
- Respond to changes in patient condition, escalate concerns appropriately, and ensure resident safety, comfort, and dignity during night shifts.
- Participate in unit coverage as needed, including potential float to other units, while adhering to facility policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation, follow infection control practices, and comply with all licensure, facility, and state regulations.
Requirements
- Active RN license in Vermont; license must be on file at time of submission
- BLS through the American Heart Association
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience; LTC experience preferred; prior travel experience required
- Ability and willingness to float to other units as needed; comfortable working with residents who have dementia
- Must complete a 7-year nationwide background check (including county court searches, FACIS-3, and sex offender registry) within 18 months of the start date
- FACIS-3 and VCIC clearances required within 30 days of start
