Registered Nurse – Behavioral Health / Adolescent Inpatient currently available in Grand Rapids, MI. This travel assignment starts 07/20/2026 for 13 weeks, with weekly pay in the range of $1,819 to $1,923 and guaranteed 40 hours per week. Shift is 3:00 PM–11:30 PM in an inpatient adolescent unit within a community mental health provider setting.

Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ care needs, develop and continually reassess a plan of care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team
- Provide and coordinate nursing care with physicians for individuals and groups; participate in milieu management and discharge planning
- Educate patients and families, support discharge planning, and maintain a therapeutic milieu that supports safety and recovery
- Document, report, and verify information per policy; monitor for safety risks and escalate concerns to the physician as needed
- Serve as a clinical leader, delegating and coordinating staff assignments; contribute to staff development and quality-improvement efforts
- May function as charge nurse and support scheduling, workflow, and resource management as assigned
Requirements
- Active registered nurse license in Michigan
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years behavioral health experience; pediatric experience is required
- Ability to work in an inpatient adolescent behavioral health setting
- Completion of an approved nursing program (e.g., ADN or BSN)
- Availability to start on 07/20/2026 and commit to a 13-week assignment with guaranteed 40 hours per week
