Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients in the NICU according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other disciplines.
- Monitor neonates with critical conditions, perform ongoing assessments, interpret findings, administer medications, and respond to emergencies as needed.
- Manage NICU equipment and monitoring, ensure proper thermoregulation, infection control, and compliance with safety protocols; assist with ventilator support as indicated.
- Document care accurately, communicate updates to families, provide education and support to parents/caregivers, and ensure seamless handoffs across shifts.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a NICU setting with Level III/IV designation as described in the assignment notes.
- Availability for a 13-week assignment starting 11/09/2026.
- Capability to work 12-hour day shifts (3x12 per week).
- Willingness to participate in a travel temporary assignment in the specified location.
