Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under supervision, including activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs, document observations, and report changes promptly to the nursing team
- Assist with patient transfers, positioning, and maintaining safe, clean, and comfortable clinical environments
- Support clinical team with routine tasks, specimen collection, and routine sanitation per infection control protocols
- Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff
- Comply with BLS and hospital policies, participate in safety initiatives, and contribute to quality care during med-surg and ER coverage
Requirements
- Active Colorado CNA license (unrestricted)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to work nights in a hospital setting
- Willingness to travel and comply with the 65 mile distance requirement (no local applicants)
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills
- Ability to adhere to facility policies and infection control practices
