Travel Registered Nurse Med Surg Job
Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical (Travel) in Hermiston, Oregon. This 13-week assignment starts 06/28/2026, with 36 guaranteed hours per week on a 3x12 Night shift in a Critical Access Hospital. Weekly pay ranges from $1,980 to $2,161 per week.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to adult patients before and after surgical procedures in the Med-Surg unit.
- Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and initiate the Plan of Care on admission; respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or treatment response.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams; communicate effectively with patients and families; uphold patient confidentiality and dignity.
- Perform general nursing duties across departments as needed under appropriate supervision; participate in required education for applicable program standards.
- May be floated to other departments where qualified, with adherence to unit policies and scope of practice.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the State of Oregon
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Preferred: BSN or MSN; CMSRN certification
- Preferred: Previous Medical-Surgical nursing experience
- CRASE training is required if travel assignment extends beyond a 6-month period
- Ability to work in a hospital/acute care setting; able to float to other departments as needed
- Commitment to patient safety, privacy, and high-quality care
