Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures using standard imaging equipment
- Position patients and select appropriate exposure factors to obtain quality images
- Apply radiation safety principles and monitor patient and staff exposure
- Verify patient identity, procedure details, and documentation in the imaging system
- Ensure image quality and complete preliminary quality checks; prepare images for interpretation
- Float to four attached buildings as needed and coordinate with radiologists and clinicians to support patient care
Requirements
- Active ARRT certification (LRT) and Kansas Board of Healing Arts license in hand upon submittal
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Education: Graduate of a two-year accredited Radiology Technology program
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent radiology tech experience in a high-acuity setting
- Ability to perform imaging across multiple buildings with attached x-ray equipment
- Ability to work a schedule that includes weekend requirements
