Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for adult patients (18+) in the IMCU/PCU with neuro, cardiac, trauma, respiratory, and post-operative needs
- Monitor and manage patients requiring ventilatory support and advanced airway management; collaborate with respiratory therapy
- Administer medications, perform assessments, document in the EPIC EMR, and communicate changes to the multidisciplinary team
- Employ specialty equipment as available: temporary pacer, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, Neptune Vapo; assist with chronic vent management as needed
- Float to other units per assignment and respond to changes in patient condition with clinical judgment and teamwork
- Maintain patient safety, implement care plans, and educate patients and families as appropriate

Requirements
- Active NY RN license with NURSYS verification; current NY license and all RN licenses
- Minimum 2 years of IMCU/PCU experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Ability to work in an IMCU/PCU environment within a hospital setting
- Driver’s license with address matching demographics
- RTO (time off) must be included at time of submission
