Travel Medical Laboratory Technician Job
Medical Laboratory Technician – Travel assignment in Corvallis, Oregon. Start date 04/27/2026 for a 13-week assignment with 40 guaranteed hours per week. The position follows a 5x8 daytime shift (0800-1630) with occasional weekends in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital laboratory. Weekly pay ranges from $2,321 to $2,428 per week.

Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations in the laboratory department and partner with the Laboratory Director on policy and procedural matters.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing and reporting of specimens (blood, body fluids, tissue) in a CLIA-certified and CAP-accredited environment.
- Supervise technical staff scheduling, training, performance feedback, and adherence to quality control and quality assurance programs.
- Maintain instrument performance, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with clinicians to support patient care needs.
- Facilitate the implementation of policies and procedural changes and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Certification: ASCP, AMT or equivalent Medical Laboratory Scientist certification required.
- Experience: Five (5) years in a clinical laboratory role.
- Leadership: Two (2) years of laboratory leadership/management experience.
- Setting: Hospital/acute care laboratory experience preferred.
- Skills: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate across teams.
