Travel Licensed Practical Nurse LPN Job
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) travel assignment in a skilled nursing setting located in Flandreau, South Dakota, United States. Start date: 03/23/2026. Assignment length: 8–12 weeks with guaranteed 32 hours per week. Shift: 4x8-hour days, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with every other weekend and every other holiday if it falls within the contract period. This position is a travel - temporary assignment in a skilled nursing facility.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care within the LPN scope, including monitoring and reporting changes in resident condition.
- Administer prescribed medications and therapies per facility policy; document accurately in the chart.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and planned routines, promoting safety and independence.
- Collaborate with the RN and interdisciplinary team to implement and adjust care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record; ensure clear handoffs between shifts.
- Uphold infection control, safety protocols, and resident dignity during care delivery.
Requirements
- Active LPN license (state-specific as required by regulation)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or as required
- Ability to work 4x8-hour shifts and to cover every other weekend and every other holiday if scheduled within the contract
- Relevant experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred
- LPN diploma or equivalent required
- Compliance clearance required prior to start date
