Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or defined group of patients following established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff at various levels; coordinate care with other disciplines.
- Collect relevant health data, analyze assessment information, and develop a care plan with prescribed interventions.
- Implement the care plan, coordinate delivery, and promote a safe, healing environment; evaluate progress toward outcomes.
- Participate in discharge planning and ensure continuity of care; educate patients, families, and the treatment team.
- Delegate appropriately and collaborate with the care team to support patient and family learning and safe care delivery.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- ICU/critical care experience or strong ICU nursing background
- Ability to work in a home healthcare - hospice setting
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Availability for a 13-week travel assignment with a 3x12-hour day shift schedule
