Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care within the Licensed Practical Nurse scope of practice for long-term care residents
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered; document in the PCC system
- Monitor residents’ condition, perform routine assessments, and report changes to the supervising RN
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team across multiple units as needed
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and ensure their safety, comfort, and dignity
- Maintain infection control practices, safety protocols, and accurate documentation
