Responsibilities
- Conduct admission assessments, obtaining past medical history, current condition, vital signs, and reviewing labs, X-rays, and other diagnostics.
- Participate in planning and implementing a written care plan under physician supervision.
- Administer medications with attention to safety: ensure appropriate visual acuity and hand-eye coordination.
- Monitor patient status, document findings, interpret data, and respond to changes in condition; maintain clear communication with the interdisciplinary team.
- Provide patient and family education, ensure cultural sensitivity, and uphold confidentiality and privacy standards.
- Support a safe care environment by adhering to infection prevention practices and hospital protocol, and contribute to an appropriate patient safety culture.

Requirements
- Licensure: Active New Hampshire RN license required or eligible to obtain NH RN license
- Certifications: BLS certification required; ACLS certification required
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- Experience: Clinical experience preferred
- Specialty/Setting: Ability to work effectively in an emergency department environment and perform essential nursing functions

Education and Certifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred; equivalent nursing education as allowed by NH licensure
- Licensure: Current NH Registered Nurse license or eligibility to obtain
- Certifications: BLS certification required; ACLS certification required
- Professional development: Membership in a professional nursing organization and specialty certification are preferred per role expectations
