Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive respiratory care for adults in ICU and for patients in general units, including ventilator management for intubated and non-intubated patients
- Administer prescribed therapies (nebulized medications, inhaled bronchodilators, humidification, chest physiotherapy) and manage oxygen delivery
- Monitor patient status, interpret clinical data (ABGs, ventilator parameters), and adjust treatment plans under physician direction
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the broader care team; participate in rounds and care planning
- Document care accurately in the electronic medical record (Epic) and ensure timely completion of daily patient updates
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols; respond to respiratory emergencies in a timely manner

Requirements
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential with NBRC verification required
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP; NBRC verification required
- Experience: minimum 1 year of relevant experience; prior travel experience preferred
- Clinical setting experience: in inpatient ICU (adult) and general units (adult & pediatric); NICU experience preferred but not required
- Epic experience within the past 2 years is required
- Work requirements: must be able to work the scheduled 12-hour shifts; no float assignments
- Transportation: reliable transportation is required; public transit is not available in this area
- Additional notes: All work history details (employment gaps, bed count, EMR usage, facility type) should be complete and well-documented
