Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Monitor telemetry data, assess patient status, and respond to changes in condition; administer medications and manage treatments as ordered.
- Collaborate with physicians, ancillary staff, and other disciplines to coordinate care and ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; delegate tasks within scope of practice and provide guidance as appropriate.
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses clearly and accurately; participate in discharge planning and patient education as part of continuity of care.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- Telemetry or hospital nursing experience; 1 year preferred
- Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher; BSN preferred
- Ability to work night shifts; 12-hour shifts (36 hours per week)
- Eligibility for travel nursing assignments and ability to begin by 11/16/2026
