Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents as the charge nurse in a LTC setting
- Lead, supervise, and delegate to licensed and non-licensed nursing staff (LPNs/CNAs) to ensure quality care
- Assess residents, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders; monitor responses and document findings
- Coordinate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and continuity of care
- Monitor for changes in resident condition and respond to clinical emergencies as needed
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Vermont (VT)
- Nursing degree (RN) from an accredited program
- Ability to work in a long-term care environment with rotating day/evening shifts and weekend rotation
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and collaborate with nursing staff and coordinate patient care
- Willingness to travel for a temporary assignment and meet assignment-specific onboarding requirements
