Cardiovascular Technologist – OR CVOR Tech | travel assignment in Plattsburgh, NY. Start date 06/15/2026 for 4 weeks, with a weekly pay range of $1,692–$1,779, and a 3x12-hour day shift. Work setting: hospital surgical services with an OR CVOR unit. Responsibilities
- Circulate and scrub as applicable for CVOR cases, maintaining sterile technique and instrument counts
- Assist with patient positioning, draping, and localization of implants/components
- Prepare and verify room setup, including micro-instrumentation, implants, and equipment for vascular, ortho, general, ENT, plastics, and neuro cases
- Document intraoperative events and procedures in the electronic medical record (EPIC)
- Support case flow, transport, and handoffs; participate in turnover and room readiness for subsequent cases
Requirements
- Active New York license (Cardiovascular Technologist) or eligibility
- NBSTSA certification required; BLS certification required
- Vascular skills are a must
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in CVOR or related surgical setting
- Ability to circulate; scrub experience preferred
- Experience with EPIC for documentation; ability to adapt to facility-specific workflows
- Must be able to float to ASC as case mix requires
- Prior travel experience preferred; trauma level experience at least at Level 3 settings is beneficial
