Responsibilities
- Assist and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities during your shift to maintain high-quality care
- Administer medications and monitor resident responses according to physician orders and facility policy
- Observe and report changes in resident status to the nursing leadership and care team
- Ensure compliance with current Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations
- Collaborate with the director of nursing and interdisciplinary team to plan and deliver resident-centered care
- Maintain accurate documentation and support infection prevention, safety, and resident privacy
Requirements
- Colorado CAPS (Colorado adult protective services) background check required
- Must meet the certifications, education, and experience criteria as described in the job notes
- Availability for night shift (6:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.) on a 3x12 schedule
- Reliable transportation required due to rural Gunnison location
- Travel assignment: 13 weeks with 36 guaranteed hours per week
