Endoscopy Tech – Endoscopy specialty, Grand Junction, Colorado. Start date: 07/06/2026 for 6 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,535–$1,585 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36. Shift: Days. Travel - temporary assignment in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities
- Sterilize and prepare rooms and endoscopic equipment before and after procedures as directed.
- Support and assist physicians and registered nurses with procedures as directed.
- Verify proper equipment functioning and perform safety checks; maintain and repair endoscopic equipment as needed.
- Collect and deliver specimens obtained during procedures, ensuring the sterile field is maintained.
- Assist in patient intake, transport, and documentation; help with recordkeeping of physician observations.
- Apply monitoring devices to patients (blood pressure cuffs, cardiac monitoring electrodes, pulse oximeter sensors, nasal cannulas) as appropriate.
- Share information about equipment or instruments during in-service trainings and refresh skills through ongoing participation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
- One of the following: an associate degree in Medical Assisting or Surgical Technology; or Certified Nursing Assistant certification; or at least 6 months of Endoscopy Technician experience.
- Ability to work in a hospital/procedure-center setting and to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
