Travel Licensed Practical Nurse LPN Job
LPN travel assignment in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Start date: 04/01/2026. Duration: 9 weeks. Weekly pay: $742-$811 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week. Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and document administration per facility protocol
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and report findings to the supervising nurse and physician as needed
- Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming) and mobility to support resident independence
- Perform basic nursing procedures within scope of practice and as assigned (wound care, specimen collection, routine treatments)
- Maintain accurate nursing notes, care plans, and vital signs; ensure safety and comfort of residents
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to update care plans and respond to changes in residents’ needs
Requirements
- Active LPN license in Virginia (or eligible for licensure in Virginia)
- Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain prior to start
- Minimum 1 year of practical nursing experience; geriatric or long-term care experience preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a long-term care setting
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Eligibility to work in the United States and ability to pass required background checks
