Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients across a range of diagnoses and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve strength, range of motion, balance, safety, and functional capacity
- Coordinate care with inpatient and outpatient teams to ensure continuity of care
- Reassess progress and adjust treatment plans; document outcomes and progress notes
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety strategies
- Ensure patient safety, infection control, and adherence to clinical protocols during therapy sessions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy
- Current Colorado PT license (DORA) or Compact for Colorado
- BLS through the American Heart Association
- Minimum 2 years of PT experience; 3–5 years preferred
- Ability to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- RADIUS RULE: traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the assignment location
- CAPS Requirement: apply ASAP; may take up to two weeks to obtain; use the provided portal for submission
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy (standard requirement)
- Active PT licensure in Colorado or compact licensure for Colorado
