Registered Nurse – Corrections, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Start date: 05/04/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Weekly pay: $1,826–$1,927 per week. Guaranteed hours: 16 per week. Shift: Night shift, 5x8 schedule. Setting: corrections environment with potential to float to other areas as needed. This assignment is a travel temporary position through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a corrections setting, prioritizing safety and confidentiality
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor responses, and document outcomes
- Conduct routine head-to-toe assessments, monitor vitals, and identify changes in patient condition
- Triage and manage common medical issues; initiate treatment per clinical protocols
- Perform wound care, dressing changes, and assist with minor procedures as needed
- Uphold infection control, safety, and security policies; coordinate with multidisciplinary team
- Communicate clearly with patients, families when appropriate, and healthcare colleagues; maintain accurate documentation
- Respond to clinical emergencies according to facility and policy guidelines
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Ability to work night shifts and float to other areas as needed
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Experience in corrections or acute care settings preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work within a secure, regulated environment and comply with policy and safety requirements
