Respiratory Therapist, Registered — Travel - Temporary Assignment in Roosevelt, Utah, United States. Start date 09/14/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,758–$1,866 per week with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift: Nights, 1800–0600. Schedule features 6 days on and 8 days off. This hospital setting requires current licensure, AMA-approved education, active NBRC credential, and BCLS/ACLS certifications. AARC/USRC membership is preferred. The Respiratory Therapist works under the supervision of the Respiratory Medical Director and Department Manager to deliver cardiopulmonary care, including assessments, diagnostic evaluations, therapeutic interventions, and patient education, complying with physician orders and department policies.

Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care per physician orders, department policies, and procedures, including patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
- Administer therapies (oxygen, aerosolized meds, airway clearance, ventilator support) and monitor patient responses; adjust care as directed.
- Triage and prioritize patient needs in the emergency care system; communicate changes in status to ED physicians.
- Document care activities accurately in patient records; participate in care planning with the multidisciplinary team.
- Ensure equipment safety, infection control, and proper operation of respiratory care devices; report equipment issues promptly.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on respiratory conditions, treatments, and discharge care as appropriate.
Requirements
- Current Utah State Respiratory Therapist Licensure
- Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy
- BCLS and ACLS certification (active)
- NBRC Credential (active, in good standing)
- AARC/USRC Membership preferred
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and participate in a night-shift travel assignment
