Travel Registered Nurse Med Surg Job
The Saratoga Springs location brings a unique blend of small‑town appeal and professional opportunity. You’ll work in a modern med‑surg unit within a network that values patient safety, evidence‑based practice, and continuous learning. If you crave variety, this program also offers pathways to work in other locations across the United States, expanding your clinical exposure—from bustling urban campuses to tranquil community hospitals—while maintaining the same commitment to excellence. Enjoy access to supportive housing options and relocation assistance where applicable, and build a broader professional footprint as you rotate through different settings, cultures, and patient populations. The region itself offers a high quality of life: world‑class dining, seasonal events, and the scenic Adirondack foothills are just a short drive away, enriching your work‑life balance and offering rejuvenating escapes after demanding shifts.
In this role, your key responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessment, development and refinement of individualized care plans, vigilant monitoring of vitals and clinical indicators, administration and titration of medications, IV therapy, wound and IV access care, infection prevention, and critical documentation to ensure continuity of care. You’ll coordinate discharge planning, caregiver education, and community referrals, empowering patients to maintain stability at home. Professional growth is a core part of the assignment: you’ll have opportunities to pursue Med Surg‑specific certifications, participate in evidence‑based practice projects, and access leadership or preceptorship tracks as you demonstrate expertise. This position offers competitive compensation, including a potential bonus, housing assistance, and the flexibility of contract extensions to fit your career trajectory. You’ll also benefit from comprehensive support, including 24/7 assistance from our dedicated travel team as you move between assignments, ensuring help is just a call away whenever you need it. The program is designed to adapt to your career goals, providing structured mentorship, and resources to help you build confidence, refine skills, and expand your professional network.
