Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
RN - ED/Medical Floor travel assignment in Big Sky, MT. Start date 03/25/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,304–$2,402 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Rotating 3x12-hour shifts (days and nights) with every other weekend, in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the ED/Medical Floor in collaboration with the health care team; assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care
- Collect comprehensive data, form diagnoses or issues, set outcomes, and develop and execute a Plan of Care
- Administer medications and therapies per orders; monitor responses; manage IVs and other treatments
- Respond to acute events; participate in stroke and trauma protocols; triage, stabilize, and escalate as needed
- Educate patients and families; participate in discharge planning; promote safety and infection control
- Maintain professional practice standards; contribute to peer development; collaborate with patients, families, and others in care delivery
- Stroke competency: Complies with policies related to hyper-acute and acute stroke care; participates in four hours annually of stroke education
Requirements
- Active Montana Registered Nurse license
- American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification
- American Heart Association PALS or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification
- Trauma Nursing Care Coordinator certification
- 1 year emergency nursing or critical care experience
- BSN preferred
- Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced ED/Medical Floor environment; ability to work rotating days/nights and every other weekend
