Travel Surgical Tech Job
Surgical Tech travel assignment in Bad Axe, MI. Start date 06/15/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,428–$1,486 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0. Shift: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM. This hospital-based role may involve floating between two nearby sites as needed. The surgical team supports orthopedics, OB-GYN, and general procedures, with NBSTSA certification and current BLS required.

Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms, patients, and equipment for surgical procedures; maintain sterile technique and proper instrument counts
- Assist surgeons and other team members during procedures as part of the surgical team
- Chart and communicate patient status, position patients safely, and assist with draping and gowning as needed
- Manage instrument sets, sponge/needle counts, and safe handling of implants and devices
- Respond to intraoperative needs and urgent requests within approximately 30 minutes
- Float between two nearby sites as required to support coverage and workflow
Requirements
- 2+ years CST (certified surgical technologist) experience required
- NBSTSA certification required
- BLS certification required
- Ortho, OB-GYN, and General procedure experience preferred
- Ability to work in a hospital OR environment and support a fast-paced surgical team
