Responsibilities
- Provide unit-based leadership, collaborating with the Nurse Manager, Director, physicians, and staff.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing and ancillary personnel, using professional and supervisory discretion.
- Ensure patients on the unit receive cost-effective, high-quality, professional care that supports positive outcomes and high patient satisfaction while maintaining patient safety.
- Assess patient experience and implement steps to improve the quality of care and the patient experience.
- Coordinate care delivery, support staff development, and participate in unit-level quality improvement initiatives.
- Promote a collaborative, evidence-based approach to care, ensuring adherence to policies, regulatory requirements, and patient safety standards.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California.
- Experience in unit-based leadership or supervision of nursing and ancillary staff.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary care team in a hospital setting.
- Strong communication skills and a focus on patient safety and quality outcomes.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program; current eligibility to practice as an RN in California.
- Adaptability to a travel assignment and to working in a fast-paced inpatient environment.
