Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for general medical and surgical patients, including telemetry cases
- Monitor patient status, administer medications per plan of care, and perform ongoing assessments
- Collaborate with physicians, case management, and ancillary staff to coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record, including documentation of care, vital signs, and changes in condition
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and dignity; respond promptly to changes in patient status and call light requests
- Manage high patient turnover on a rapid admission unit, maintaining appropriate prioritization and communication

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia; Nursys license verification required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg/Tele RN experience
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced admission unit with clear, effective communication
- Resume with no gaps greater than 60 days; include Skills Checklist, References, Certification Card, and Nursys verification as part of the application
