Registered Nurse, MICU travel assignment in Atlanta, GA, starting 09/21/2026 for 16 weeks. Weekly pay of $1,653–$1,693 with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Shift is night, consisting of 12-hour blocks (3 blocks per rotation). Work in a hospital-based Medical ICU unit with about 30 beds, caring for patients with sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, and related conditions. ACLS and BLS certifications are required; a minimum of 3 years of MICU experience is requested. This assignment supports a fast-paced critical care environment and requires vent management and appropriate drips along with strong clinical collaboration.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to MICU patients, including those with sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, and CKD
- Monitor and interpret patient status, respond to changes, and escalate as needed
- Manage ventilator support and administer IV drips and critical medications per protocol
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other team members to implement care plans
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic health record
- Ensure safety, infection control, and comfort measures; provide timely patient and family education

Requirements
- Minimum 3 years MICU or similar high-acuity ICU experience
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Demonstrated ventilator management experience and proficiency with IV drips
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity MICU environment
- Willingness to work night shifts and participate in a travel assignment
